Some of the larger studios have a double bed and 1 or 2 single beds.

Just add your preference for the type of bed in the comments box when booking.

They are basic framed tents with a concrete floor. You can stand up in them and they have electricity and a lockable door. Bed tents either have one double bed or 2 single beds and include pillows and sheets, but no towels. Basically, they offer a little more comfort than a simple tent.

Basically, this means that you will not need to bring your own tent. You will find a comfortable 2-birth dome tent already pitched and waiting for you for the 5 days of the festival. Our tents also include a foam mattress. However, please note that sleeping bags are not included. These can be rented from the venue for an additional €1 per day. Please let us know in advance if you should require one by adding it in the comments box of your booking.

You will need a mattress, pillow and sleeping bag. Sleeping bags can be rented from the venue @ €1 per night, but there are no mattresses available.

Yes, there is plenty of space for camper vans. Please add this information in the comments box when booking by writing “camper van”.

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel, all tickets will be carried over to the following year.

There is a mini market where you can buy food, snacks, fruit, sunscreen, flipflops etc, a café, and a restaurant at the venue. Also, there is a communal kitchen area and laundry at the campsite as well as modern bathrooms for campers.

It’s usually around 22- 27 C during the day, but it can get a little chilly in the evening and night. You’ll need mainly light clothing, a swim suit, flipflops, a beach towel etc., but also bring a pair of long trousers and a jacket for the evenings.

No, sorry, we cannot offer discounts. The basic HONA tickets are kept as low as possible to make HONA affordable while still covering our overheads. Please do not put us in an uncomfortable position by haggling for a discount.

However, there should be discounts available for both vehicles and passengers for travel by ferry from Athens to Naxos return and between Italy and Greece. TBC

Yes, sure! Just contact the venue directly to check for availability and prices for the extra days.

HONA is a small festival, with only 9 stage spots each year. Although we would love to invite all the amazing talented musicians to play, this is unfortunately not possible. If you would like to join the list of performers interested to play on our stage, please contact us by email in the August before you are hoping to perform, including a sample of your performing style. We also like to reward musicians who have supported HONA in the past by attending on a ticket by giving them priority for stage slots.

Yes, of course. We run a small HONA shop twice during the festival. You are welcome to join us with your instruments, jewellery, handmade goods etc. as long as you have a HONA ticket.
